Conxita Cervantes is a freelance photographer specialized in photography of corporate, institutional and social report. She also makes report of interior design and decoration and includes in this category a special catalogue of photographs for the interior decoration usage.
Her beginnings like a photographer goes back to her youth and in a self-educated way, after working in a study specialized in industrial and corporate photography, she was polishing her skills and restating her condition (and conviction) as a photographer.
She has been stimulated by her anxious and a bit rebellious personality which always made her continue the type of author's photography that she developed in her youth and from which, collections like " lamp-posts ", “chains”, "dead nature ", etc. have arisen; and her concern and social and environmental commitment led Counx in the late nineties to travel around Central America, especially El Salvador and Guatemala, where she got inspired for her first collection with a strong human content as "sights", "needies", "women",”elderly men” etc. and where the nature and the life impregnated the lens of Counx's cameras and she fell passionately in love with the photography of travels and portraits, portraits of looks, those that explain and tell you about themselves, that cry at you from the same portrait the silence of the image.
